Work Schedule:
- Time Range: Between 7 AM – 7 PM CST (Graveyard shift)
- Working Hours: 9 hours per day (8 working hours + 1-hour break)
- Days Off: TBD (2 days per week)

Position Overview
Teamficient is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer/Drafter with at least 8 years of experience in structural design and advanced Revit modeling. This remote role is focused on developing detailed, accurate, and constructible structural models for U.S.-based projects.
The ideal candidate is an expert in Autodesk Revit (Structural) and has experience working with point cloud data, materials quantification, and site modeling. You’ll collaborate closely with architectural and MPE teams to ensure technical precision, compliance with U.S. standards, and smooth project coordination.
This position is perfect for professionals who excel in technical accuracy, efficient coordination, and digital design documentation in a remote setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed structural Revit models for design and construction documentation.
- Perform materials quantification and takeoffs for concrete, steel, and other structural systems.
- Integrate point cloud data for as-built modeling, ensuring high precision in all structural elements.
- Execute site modeling and grading tasks as required.
- Coordinate effectively with architectural, structural, and MPE teams to ensure project consistency and constructability.
- Review and redline structural drawings to maintain accuracy and design intent.
- Utilize Bluebeam for drawing review, markups, and collaboration.
- Contribute to project documentation standards and digital workflow improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in structural design and documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structural).
- Strong understanding of site modeling and grading.
- Proven experience in materials quantification and construction takeoffs.
- Experience in point cloud integration and modeling (required).
- Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu for markup and review (preferred).
- Excellent collaboration and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with U.S.-based projects and an understanding of American standards are highly preferred.
Must-Haves
- 8+ years of experience in structural design and documentation
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (Structural)
- Point cloud modeling experience
- Materials quantification and takeoff experience
- Site modeling and grading knowledge
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Experience with Bluebeam preferred
- Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Technical/System Requirements
- Desktop or laptop with Intel Core i5 (or higher) processor
- Minimum 8GB RAM for multitasking and large file handling
- Workstation free from noise and distractions
- Stable primary internet connection and backup internet
- USB headset with noise-cancelling microphone
- Backup power source (generator, UPS, or accessible alternative workspace during outages)
