Introduction
Nexos is a HR consulting company. We are looking for our client for an “Engineering Manager Davits”, location of work is Austria. Our client has for many years been a world leading manufacturer of innovative lifting solutions for commercial vehicles and in the maritime field. The company is a global partner for reliable deck equipment and lifesaving appliances and supplies high-quality products to fulfill standardized and customized demands.
To strengthen the Davits team from our client company in Salzburg / Austria we are looking for a Engineering Manager Davits.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead, coordinate and develop engineering teams within the davits product group on multiple locations.
• Contribute to the product management of the davits product group in alignment with the overall company strategy and marked demand.
• Contribute to the definition and achievement of long-term strategic goals.
• Plan and control projects and R&D budgets.
• Collaborate with other product groups and business partners within the entire value chain.
• Improve engineering related procedures and guidelines to meet future requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
You like to develop new ideas? You have a focus on realizing innovative solutions. You have strong communication skills and keep a good overview of the situation? Then welcome to the team!
• Completed technical education (university) in the field of mechanical engineering or similar
• Several years of experience in a technical field
• Basic technical knowledge of hydraulic and electric systems
• Knowledge of ERP, CAD (preferably Inventor or Creo) and PDM tools
• Leadership skills with the ability to understand and communicated within a diverse, multi-cultural environment
• Experience in cooperation with third parties is an advantage
• Interdisciplinary understanding and interest in teamwork
• High commitment and flexibility
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent English – both spoken and written, further languages (especially German) are desirable

The company offers an attractive and performance-related salary, based on your qualifications and professional experience and can be significantly above the Austrian metal industry collective agreement (Kollektivvertrag) minimum salary based on full-time employment which is EUR 50.286,18 gross per year.
