Reports To: Charge Nurse / Nurse Manager

Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for providing comprehensive, safe, and evidence-based nursing care to patients across various clinical settings, including critical care, emergency, inpatient, operating room, and cardiac catheterization services. The nurse will assess patient needs, administer treatments, monitor clinical conditions, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes or clinical concerns.
Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical and surgical procedures.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, and care plans.
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in emergency response and critical interventions when required.
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical quality protocols.
Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of nursing practice.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other multidisciplinary team members.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for critical care assignments.
Experience Required
Minimum 2–3 years of hospital nursing experience.
Experience in the assigned specialty area such as ICU, CCU, Emergency, Inpatient, Operating Room, or Cath Lab.
Cardiac nursing experience is preferred.

Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing.
Required Certification(s)
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Certification(s)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), particularly for ICU/CCU and other critical care assignments.
